In an effort to recognize and celebrate our talented colleagues, we’d like to share some inspirational stories from their time at Temenos, from previous employment and from their personal lives too.
1. When did you join Temenos? Tell us about your role.
I joined Temenos in September 2017 as an Inside Sales Trainee for the second edition of the Temenos Sales Academy.
After graduating the Sales Academy, my role in Inside Sales has been to generate leads, manage incoming sales requests, engage on marketing campaigns, and work closely with Sales and Pre-sales teams to assist with active sales cycles in any way that I can.
2. What do you think makes Temenos unique (as an employer)? What made you join the company?
I believe culture is the key differentiator for Temenos. Although it’s great to be part of an industry-leading company with a top quality product that is revolutionizing the future of banking and the digital space, the main reason why I joined and I continue to work here is the culture.
Temenos cares about its people, investing in their learning and development, which was clear to me from the moment I was enrolled in the Sales Academy program. I’ve also genuinely enjoyed working with everyone I’ve come across during my first year here.
3. What do you enjoy the most at Temenos?
I would say I most enjoy the challenge. As customers and prospects know we’re a leader in the industry and hold high expectations on our ability to fulfil their needs, we also place high expectations on ourselves.
Every day delivers a fresh set of questions and opportunities and I enjoy how I’m constantly growing to overcome the challenges I have to face.
4. If you were to describe working at Temenos in a single phrase, what would that be?
Working at Temenos is like hiking a mountain. It feels challenging at times, but the views are definitely worth it and you meet some great people along the way.
5. If you think about the future, what do you look forward to in your journey at Temenos?
I look forward to seeing who I will become. This past year has gifted me a lot of experiences and as my opportunities and involvement within Temenos continue to expand, I’m excited to see where that growth will take me, both personally and professionally.
6. What does the “See Different” Value mean to you and how do you relate to it?
To me, the “See Different” value is a reminder to view every challenge and obstacle as an opportunity, to be bold, take action, and go the extra mile on everything I’m involved in.
Average people might not do these things, but we’re not trying to be average. Both Temenos as a company and myself as an individual are relentlessly striving to be exceptional.
