In an effort to recognize and celebrate our talented colleagues, we’d like to share some inspirational stories from their time at Temenos, from previous employment and from their personal lives too.
1. When did you join Temenos? Tell us about your role.
I joined in May 2016 and am based in Hemel Hempstead, UK. I am part of the Product Development leadership team and joined Temenos to lead the Technology Transformation Programme. From January this year, I have been the Director of Product Engineering Services and as of October I also look after all Cloud & DevOps Development in Temenos.
Altogether, my group is the central capability responsible for providing the DevOps, Cloud and Technical services and platforms that support Temenos and its clients. No pressure then.
2. What do you think makes Temenos unique (as an employer)? What made you join the company?
As a company with a market capitalisation of $11B+ , Temenos offers a very appealing flat organisational structure and lack of ‘red tape’ relative to not only similar Product companies but a lot of smaller ones too. The focus is on getting the job done, not counting hours spent in the office chair.
I joined Temenos with a desire to get back to what I do best – Delivery – and to put down what will hopefully be long term roots in one Company and one location.
3. What do you enjoy the most at Temenos?
The freedom and encouragement to think big and bold. Also, being in Hemel Hempstead.
4. If you were to describe working at Temenos in a single phrase, what would that be?
The only constant is Change…and awesome people.
5. If you think about the future, what do you look forward to in your journey at Temenos?
Seeing my vision of “Code in the Morning, Deliver to the Client in the Evening” become a reality through the groundbreaking work we are doing now in Cloud & DevOps Development.
6. What does the “See Different” Value mean to you and how do you relate to it?
For me it means Be Yourself. At Temenos, you are not forced to be a robot. Sharing and combining my own perspectives, experiences and ambition with 5000 other Temenosians is what makes Temenos the unique and exceptional company it is today.
